Make Art, Not War - Happy Peace Day - Peace Owl Mask

Image
Peace begins with a smile. -Mother Teresa You must be the change you want to see in the world. -Mahatma Gandhi Imagine all the people living life in peace. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one. - John Lennon All works of love are works of peace. - Mother Theresa Love art by Peter Max Happy International Day of Peace friends. I hope you do something special today to celebrate this special day. I was inspired by an event i saw called Make Art For Peace One Day and I created a Peace Owl mask. If you would like a Peace Owl mask to color/ wear send me a note and I will send you one. Spreading peace, love and smiles is what me and my Peace Owls love the best. Enjoy your day, reflect on the people that have stood up for Peace and those that continue to strive for it. Join together for the greater good. Peace & Love!

A Crafty Potluck Party

Image
this weekend my friend Hollie of Blueberryshoes Art & Vintage threw a Crafty Potluck Party. It was great fun getting crafty with crafty friends, playing and enjoying yummy foods. the party was held at Amy's house (which is filled of cuteness everywhere you look). this is going to be a new monthly meet up and i am so excited for it. It was great fun getting together with the local crafty buddies in the area and crafting together. Each girl is so inspiring to me in there own ways. The group included Hollie of Blueberryshoes Art & Vintage , Amy of Peace, Love and Cupcakes , Sherry of Annies Cupboards , Amanda of Indie Craft Bazaar , Sam (who is just an all around awesome friend, she made the yummiest vegan cupcakes), and Stephanie of Polly Peachums . I love them all dearly. Check out Hollies blog post on the event to see how you can throw one of these Crafty Potluck Parties in your area. Peace & Love!
