last sunday may 6th was the 9th annual Greynolds Park Love In Festival . It was my 3rd year vending the Love In Festival and my 4th year going. It is my favorite festival of the year. I can't wait for next years already. The park has been the hippie hang out since the 60s with jam sessions, poetry readings, peaceful demonstrations, dancing, and playing and this festival brings back all the flower power for a day festival celebrating the 60s with peace, love, music, crafts, food, and fun. They day was a perfect sunshine & some clouds day. Music played all day with fun cover songs of the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Tom Petty, etc and you just couldn't help but frolic around. They had The Rascals close the show and everyone was 'Groovin' to the songs. Greynolds Park is a beautiful nature filled park. Indie Craft Bazaar's Bohemian Craftsody was a summer lovin' indie craft fair on July 23, 11. It was a perfect sunshiney summertime show with crafty friends vending under a big white tent, with some friendly fans. i shared a table with my twin sis jessica who does Chloe The Hot Dog & Friends art and paintings. It is always fun having her by my side. I lucked out in that sisterly friend department. this show was exciting because i designed the flyer art for the event, a retro flower camper with peace owl along for the ride. i always enjoy creating flyer art for events like this. you can see more photos from the show on my facebook art page here . peace and love!

this sunday july 18th was the indie craft bazaar - peace, love & craftyness. it was a fun craft show held outside under a large tent at the cinema paradiso in fort lauderdale fl. it was a fun summertime craft/ vintage show with about 60 crafty folks selling handmade/ vintage and recycled goodies. It even had a tie die station. i designed the flyer and it was so fun meeting lots of new and old crafty pals. the day was filled with happy customers and smiles. it is so fun being surrounded by crafty folks all wanting to make local shoppers happy with the things they create. i have more photos on my facebook page including some of my crafty friends at there booths, including links to there etsy shops. check them out! i will be updating my etsy shop soon. i have a HUGE event at The Bubble this Friday Thee itty bitty Blazer Gala -part II it is a big art/ fashion/ music event. Well the second Raindance has come and gone just like that. This was a fun little 2 day hippie festival in Tampa Florida. The weather was full of sunshine with just a sprinkle of rain each day. The days were full of good music, good vibes, smiles, dancing, jam bands, sunshine, bubbles, art, floating in the pool, foam parties, peace and love. I wish I could do more festivals they make me happy. Making people smile from something you create is just the best feeling. I hope you enjoy these photos. I will have prints of the Peace Owl with his Guitar in my etsy shop soon. this polaroid on my fridge is from the first day my kitten dandelion came home. she was so little! i wish she still was that tiny but she is still adorable. i was making a funny face so my owl magnet is hiding it for you. peace & love!

i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i'm leaving for my mini cruise to the bahamas. dandelion will have to stay home. she's not a big fan of the outdoors yet. or the water. i will be back home monday. i've got a growing mushroom vase garden and painted some new 'try to be free tree' paintings. busy getting ready for Raindance Music & Art Festival and Stitch Rock Indie Craft Fair also a needed etsy shop update. have a lovely weekend!!

i love you like sunshine on a cloudy day. some things i am looking forward to this summer: july 10 - 13: cruise with family to the bahamas (i took this photo on the last and first cruise i was on in 2005) august 15 - 22: surfing trip with family to costa rica(photo taken with water camera at witches rock 2004) raindance 2 music & art festival in tampa, florida this one will be bigger and better than the last Raindance more music, more art, more peace owls, more bubbles, more sunshine, more camping, more peace, and more love. october 3: stitch rock indie craft fair & bazaar this will be my first time with an art booth at stitch rock and i am thrilled! it is the ultimate indie craft show in downtown delray beach, florida located in a vintage gymnasium. here is my curious kitten dandelion and chloe modeling next to a painting i did yesterday. it represents being free like a bird. i had fun painting lots of colorful feathers. :)
