i am now back from my weekend adventure to Raindance Music & Art Festival in Tampa, FL. We did get the rain but a good mix of sunshine also. This was a very small festival but it was tons of fun. My Peace Owls decorated the festival and I had a art booth with good friends and i painted flowers on faces for fun. We had more adventures on Friday and Monday, here are some photos:

Suddenly the air smells much greener , originally uploaded by rachellovespeace . I am freeee for 4 whole days. I am journeying to the other side of Florida to Tampa for Raindance Music & Art Festival. The Festival is Saturday and Sunday. I will be decorating the festival with some Peace Owls and also have a booth with art for sale with my twin sister and some other friends. Have a great long weekend! I will update when I return. this weekend i went to my first meetup for a group called: South Florida Artists Showcase . It was the first meet up and it was during Art Walk in Downtown Hollywood. We went around and visited art gallerys and talked of a website Norma will be putting together to promote South Florida Artists. i am happy i found out about this group and that me and my sister will be apart of it. :) i also finally made it to Love-In Festival in Miami, Fl. It is at a really cool park that I used to go to when I was little. It is beautiful with lots of trees, nature and a old coral castle. I hope next year I can have a booth with my Peace Owls. It is a great festival promoting Peace, Love and Music. Here are some photos from Love-In Festival: ..and next weekend is Raindance Music & Art Festival. Yay.

I hope everyone has a lovely mom day! I always loved this photo with my mom, sister, me, and dog speck camping when we were little. My moms making us some yummy scrambled eggs. my dog speck used to pull us around in that little purple car. my mom is very special to me not only is she an amazing mom but shes a wonderful friend as well. I love her to the moon and back.

life size Peace Owl for Raindance , originally uploaded by rachellovespeace . I painted the largest peace owl yet! This peace owl will be directing people to Raindance Music & Art Festival . He will be holding a sign with an arrow. I can't wait for the weekend of camping, peace, love, music and art. I am very happy to be painting Peace Owls to help decorate the festival. You can get tickets for the festival for only $30 and that includes camping (plus music and art and fun) if you are in road trip distance to *Tampa (changed from Gainsville) Florida it will be worth the trip.

Its been a little while since The Notary had a show but this next one is going to be awesome!! Retrograde will be playing for the first time. The band is Corey on bass/ vocals, Vitek on guitar, and Carter on drums they have a Interpol in the 60s sound. This flyer was fun to make i usually only know one of the bands. There should be 2 more but we havent heard yet. Alligator Alley is a hidden treasure it is a 'Taproom & Music Hall'. Full of yummy native florida food & drinks. I really love the blueberry beer and alligator bites.
