here is a peak at my booth during Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar . This craft show was a real success greatly due to the Hollywood Craft Mafia who put on this lovely craft show. They did a great job promoting this show and put a lot of heart and craftiness into the whole show. It was an eye opener for alot of us of how special this handmade movement is and how special we are to have so many unique crafty lady and gents to create such a variety of things to make our lives and homes happy places. I wish I had a camera to snap photos of some of the crafty friends and neighbors that were at this show but you can see some on the Hollywood Craft Mafias facebook fan page . a tree house a free house a secret you and me house a high up in the leafy branches cozy as can be house.. -shel silverstein i have loved this poem for a very long time. i always dream of living in a tree house and that poem always makes me smile. i painted this painting on scrap wood and it is now at The Bubble in Fort Lauderdale, FL. My peace owl section has turned into a feathery peace owl kingdom. I had fun hanging feathers from the ceiling and on the walls with a friendly staple gun. Right now I am busy getting ready for a craft show coming up next weekend called Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar. It will be in Davie, FL at the historic davie school house. It will be a fun place filled with crafty treasures. Odd Duck is Saturday March 27th from 12-6pm. This craft show will even have face painting and a DIY craft table where you can make a terranium, yay. :)

my peace owls are featured in the handmade section of boho mag's spring issue! this magazine is my favorite and it is a dream come true to be inside of it. it is an eco friendly fashion/ lifestyle magazine and its pages are printed on 100% recycled paper. you can find it at bookstores and newstands nationwide. i pick mine up at barnes and nobile. this issue is fresh on the newstands today. if you go to pages 20-21 you will find my peace owls and me. this issue is packed with lovely spring time, sparkles, pastels, paris, macarons and more. you can see it online too at http://www.bohomag.com/ . it still is unreal to me that i made it on the pages of a magazine so feel free to pinch me. ahhh. i'm so happy. :) peace & love!

this show is packed with sunshine and florida themed art. it is made up of over 120 south florida artists and are on display at bear and bird boutique & gallery from march 6th - april 17. come by and enjoy some art at this sweet gallery. this place is atop of a comic store (tate's) and this place is filled with lots of unique treasures. the painting i did for the show was a peace owls day at the beach. if you can't make it to bear and bird you can see the full show online from bear and birds flickr . peace, love & sunshine!
