saturday was the 6th annual Stitch Rock Indie Craft Show & Bazaar . it is held at Old School Square Delray in an old vintage gymnasium over 80 unique crafty & vintage vendors are spread out inside the gymnasium and also outside under a giant tent. this year i went for the outside spot rather than my usual inside spot the 3 years before, figured id be closer to nature but it was a tad humid this day but it was still nice. i have cut down on craft shows so i did feel a bit out of practice. wish my display was a little more exciting. a lot of work goes into preparing for a craft show and i crafted lots of new paintings, created flower power produce size bags & sandwich size bags, lots of new ceramic dishes & new prints. last sunday may 6th was the 9th annual Greynolds Park Love In Festival . It was my 3rd year vending the Love In Festival and my 4th year going. It is my favorite festival of the year. I can't wait for next years already. The park has been the hippie hang out since the 60s with jam sessions, poetry readings, peaceful demonstrations, dancing, and playing and this festival brings back all the flower power for a day festival celebrating the 60s with peace, love, music, crafts, food, and fun. They day was a perfect sunshine & some clouds day. Music played all day with fun cover songs of the Rolling Stones, Beatles, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Tom Petty, etc and you just couldn't help but frolic around. They had The Rascals close the show and everyone was 'Groovin' to the songs. Greynolds Park is a beautiful nature filled park.     Indie Craft Swell was a fun day in the sun. Filling the front area of a rad surf shop Island Water Sports was over 30 vendors lined in rows selling lots of treasures. Each vendor was under a tent and had lots of unique handmade goods, vintage goods, some yummy food and more. I was sent up with my Peace Owl Forest. I brought my new puppy Shelly (a german shepherd mix rescue) along for the day. She spent most of the day sleeping under my table with a few play breaks. This was a first for the parking lot area of Island Water Sports but they do want to do more in the future. But they are always open too and would easily be your lovable and favorite surf shop. this past saturday was a crafty show & celebration of Stitch Rock Indie Craft Shows 5th birthday. Stitch Rock is the biggest craft show in South Florida and this is its 5th year it has grown allot through the years and gives the handmade, vintage, diy a wonderful place to vend and tons of unique crafts and goods for shoppers to treasure. this was my third year vending and i wanted to make sure i had new peace owl goodies at my booth. back in 09 this was the first big craft show i ever did, just to get accepted to vend is exciting. it is held in a vintage gymnasium in downtown delray beach, the past two shows have had even more crafty vendors (over 80) so it has an outside tent as well. i vended upstairs on the balcony of the gymnasium. i crafted some new things like some little peace owl adventure pillows: a vw bus peace owl mobile, teepee's, and retro peace owl camper. Indie Craft Bazaar's Bohemian Craftsody was a summer lovin' indie craft fair on July 23, 11. It was a perfect sunshiney summertime show with crafty friends vending under a big white tent, with some friendly fans. i shared a table with my twin sis jessica who does Chloe The Hot Dog & Friends art and paintings. It is always fun having her by my side. I lucked out in that sisterly friend department. this show was exciting because i designed the flyer art for the event, a retro flower camper with peace owl along for the ride. i always enjoy creating flyer art for events like this. you can see more photos from the show on my facebook art page here . peace and love!

here is another delayed post. its summer time, you see. these are some photos from my last craft show of the summer time Brickell Bazaar (May 21). i shared a spot with my buddy Olga of Lollipop Graphics . it was a fun craft show packed with creative crafty vendors, music and treats at a place called Tobacco Road in Miami. It was a day filled of sunshine, a little warm on the pavement but filled with good company. peace & love.

this saturday was the mini odd duck RETRO & Geek show . it was put on the amazing hollywood craft mafia and took place at Jezebels Vintage (Retro vendors) and Radioactive Records (Geek vendors). This show was 'mini' so the vendors had a 3 foot space to fill with goodies inside these 2 awesome places. Me and my twin sis ( chloe the hot dog and friends ) shared a spot. she had her retro flower doxie paintings and other doxie paintings, and some adorable florida oranges (ceramic & paintings). i had my peace owl 5 x 7 framed paintings, trunk of prints, ceramic mini mushrooms and mushroom flower vases/ peace owl bells.It was fun creating a cozy little display. my other neighbor at the show was hollie of blueberryshoes . i adore her and her craftyness. i am wearing her pine goddess crown in the bottom photo. she makes adorable bows, necklaces, paintings and more. everything has a special magic to it. also in the section i was in was Lorna Ruth (sweet alternative photogr...
