today is a special day today we celebrate one's togetherness and the moment. in fort lauderdale there is a special celebration by two magical friends Olga and Travis at my favorite warehouse turned art gallery The Bubble . This is a sneak peak at some of the paintings i created for the Oneness show. The event is sure to bring something special to the now and i can't wait to embrace it. hope everyone enjoys this special day 11-11-11 and finds your own special way to love this moment. peace & love

a tree house a free house a secret you and me house a high up in the leafy branches cozy as can be house.. -shel silverstein i have loved this poem for a very long time. i always dream of living in a tree house and that poem always makes me smile. i painted this painting on scrap wood and it is now at The Bubble in Fort Lauderdale, FL. My peace owl section has turned into a feathery peace owl kingdom. I had fun hanging feathers from the ceiling and on the walls with a friendly staple gun. Right now I am busy getting ready for a craft show coming up next weekend called Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar. It will be in Davie, FL at the historic davie school house. It will be a fun place filled with crafty treasures. Odd Duck is Saturday March 27th from 12-6pm. This craft show will even have face painting and a DIY craft table where you can make a terranium, yay. :)

i am getting ready for Stitch Rock: Indie Craft Show & Bazaar . It is this Saturday October 3rd from 12pm- 6pm in Downtown Delray Beach Florida. this will be my first big craft show and i am so excited/ nervous. these pics are a few of my newest crafts, all going with my peace forest theme. the song stuck in my head is the fleet foxes- ragged wood . i cant wait for a nice adventure after this show. my poor bicycle misses me. peace & love!

I'm free and off to Tampa Florida for an awesome 2 day hippie music & art festival- Raindance. I am packing up the Peace Owls and Peace Forest art i have been working on and then I am on the road. When I come back I will post lots of photos and let you know how the show goes. This will be Raindance #2 the first one was fun and I am sure this one will top it. I cannot wait. here is a peak at some of the new things i have been crafting. my head has been spinning with ideas getting ready for Raindance Music & Art Festival (which is next weekend!! Tampa Florida) and Stitch Rock Indie Craft Show (October 3rd Delray Beach Florida). I made some feather mobiles, mini canvas polaroid paintings and daisy headband this weekend. i'm leaving for my mini cruise to the bahamas. dandelion will have to stay home. she's not a big fan of the outdoors yet. or the water. i will be back home monday. i've got a growing mushroom vase garden and painted some new 'try to be free tree' paintings. busy getting ready for Raindance Music & Art Festival and Stitch Rock Indie Craft Fair also a needed etsy shop update. have a lovely weekend!!

life size Peace Owl for Raindance , originally uploaded by rachellovespeace . I painted the largest peace owl yet! This peace owl will be directing people to Raindance Music & Art Festival . He will be holding a sign with an arrow. I can't wait for the weekend of camping, peace, love, music and art. I am very happy to be painting Peace Owls to help decorate the festival. You can get tickets for the festival for only $30 and that includes camping (plus music and art and fun) if you are in road trip distance to *Tampa (changed from Gainsville) Florida it will be worth the trip.
