flash back: so i have been a little slow to blog land, here are some photos from Greynolds Park Love In Festival  (may 15, 2011). how could i miss a post on my favorite peace love-in smilen good times festival? well here it is, it was a lovely day, started with some rain sprinkles and cleared up to a sunshine filled clear sky day perfect for frolicking and dancing around greynolds park to the 60s tunes brought back by different musicians and jefferson starship closed the show with a nice groovy set. i had the peace owls there and shared an art tent with 2 friends, Diana of Feathers Divine (feather earings and hair extensions and more) and Olga of Lollipop Graphics (Digital Art, Posters, headbands and more). It was a fun show and great time with these crafty friends. Cant wait for next years Love-In Fest. Peace & Love!

saturday was Sean Murdock's Summer of Love Festival at The Bubble (IWAN) Fort Lauderdale. It was a magical event with inspiration from Woodstock and the 60s and Peace and Love and Music. Love was all around, happy faces, twirlling, hoola hooping, admiring, and inspiring. It was a beautiful event. The show was put on by Sean Murdock who is a talented photographer, he creates amazing images on large pieces of wood using an alternative printing techinique. He then paints them in vibrint colors. Some pop even more with 3-d glasses and look really sweet in the groovy black light room they set up during the show. The event had a few other artists and vendors outside. I had fun making my Peace Owl fort area with some help from my twin sis with Chloe the Hot Dog & Friends. I hung some of my floral sheets from the roof for a nice gypsy fort and filled the tables with some crafty treasures. I also had fun making a TeePee!!! at this show. "All Works of Love are works of Peace"- Mother Teresa Its time to celebrate! Today is a special day. In celebration of International Day of Peace and this being my 100th post I want to show you some inspiration to me and have a special giveaway for you. Since today is International Day of Peace I want to let you know why I love Peace. In the photo above I have some things that inspire peace to me. Things I treasure like the Peter Max Peace poster. In 2006 I got to meet Peter Max and he signed it for me. It was the best. He is an amazing artist and a huge inspiration to me. A photo of my family in 1985- my dad, mom, me and my twin sister in bonnets. I love how young and happy my parents look and how tiny we are. Some books that inspire me- The Book of Peace, The Giving Tree, and Peace- the Biography of the Symbol. They are all filled of lovely images and beautiful stories.
