surfy birdy

we'll its here even though i'm not ready for it.. it's 2010! i hope you all had a lovely holiday season and new year. mine flew by! i just moved into a home! it's technically my twin sister and her husband to be's home. big news: the are getting married in april! and i will be the maid of honor. wahoo. so he will move in once they are married and for now it's me and my sis. it's a cute home with an awesome backyard. we built a fort the first weekend and had fun rolling around in the grass with chloe. i painted my room a color called feather gold it makes me happy. happy 2010 here are my resolutions: *keep up with my etsy shop, take better photos, put more in it. *make more crafty friends, and have crafty partys. *be more organized with all my crafty things. *be happy with all that is around me, don't overwelm myself. *if possible, get out of having an office job. *paint more, and play more. have more time to do both. *travel, i need more roadtrips they ...

i love packaging purchases from my etsy shop. this peace owl riding bike print is on its way to missie in indiana. its a slow time for my etsy shop so this was a nice surprise. i am getting ready for festivals Raindance and Stitch Rock and do have new items but am holding off on doing updates to my etsy shop until after the festivals but if you see anything posted here and want one let me know and i can list it. :) p.s. i took these photos with my new camera that i am in love with. it is really tiny its called beansprout . you can clip it on your key ring or bag its that small. it is also cheap only about $10. the pictures aren't top quality but i like the look. it is great for a handy little camera. i often don't carry a bag and just want something small so it's great for me. and it's water resistant. so you can play in the rain with it.

Are you twins? Yes. We are. (We get that question alot.) We decided to start a Vintage shop together: DoubleVintage ! It is in the works- only 2 items listed so far. But check back for more vintage goodies soon. We love the 60s and 70s era even though we are a product of the 80s. We love hunting for retro goodies and since are home can only hold so much of it we decided to start a shop to spread the retro goodness to others. I hope you like this shop! We both will still have our handmade shops taking top priority but we thought this would be fun also. Enjoy!
