surfy birdy

here is a peak at some of the new things i have been crafting. my head has been spinning with ideas getting ready for Raindance Music & Art Festival (which is next weekend!! Tampa Florida) and Stitch Rock Indie Craft Show (October 3rd Delray Beach Florida). I made some feather mobiles, mini canvas polaroid paintings and daisy headband this weekend. I have got a lot more painting and crafting to do this week. Hope you had a great one! Peace & Love.

i am back home from costa rica. it was beautiful. i will miss this sunrises, palm trees, fresh fruits, avacado, bannana smoothies, shell walks with sisters, little sister saying 'i am gonna fall in love with him' about every other boy she saw, waves, warm water, sunshine, surfing with dad and rick, zip lines through the rainforest, waterfalls, climbing to the top of the waterfall, bicyles, friendly dogs, mountains, free birds, wild horses, coffee con leche with mom and sis, sand castels, black beans and crackers, sunsets, feathers and uno. i will miss all that and more. costa rica is a lovely place i wish my home was more like it. People really work together there always lending a helping hand and working together as a community. Also the main transportation is by bike. It is a wonderful thing to see more bikes in a parking lot than cars. I wish more people would cherish there bikes. And how all you really need is love and family. They build a home around that and thats all you...

(photo from dear & yonder- dave homcy) (painting of a surf paradise by me) i'm free and journeying to costa rica for a week! i will be traveling with my twin sis, my twin fin, my parents, and little sis. it is going to be a great time with family in an amazing place. when ever i go to costa i never want to leave. it is so beautiful and peaceful. i haven't been in too long. i will return with lots of photos. have a lovely week. plus enjoy this video of a new surf film- Dear & Yonder : peace & love

here is a peak at some more paintings i did for upcoming festivals Raindance and Stitch Rock . I will have prints of the Peace Owl with his Guitar in my etsy shop soon. this polaroid on my fridge is from the first day my kitten dandelion came home. she was so little! i wish she still was that tiny but she is still adorable. i was making a funny face so my owl magnet is hiding it for you. peace & love!

i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i love packaging purchases from my etsy shop. this peace owl riding bike print is on its way to missie in indiana. its a slow time for my etsy shop so this was a nice surprise. i am getting ready for festivals Raindance and Stitch Rock and do have new items but am holding off on doing updates to my etsy shop until after the festivals but if you see anything posted here and want one let me know and i can list it. :) p.s. i took these photos with my new camera that i am in love with. it is really tiny its called beansprout . you can clip it on your key ring or bag its that small. it is also cheap only about $10. the pictures aren't top quality but i like the look. it is great for a handy little camera. i often don't carry a bag and just want something small so it's great for me. and it's water resistant. so you can play in the rain with it.
