Feather Friends! me ( Peace Owls ) Diana ( Feather's Divine ) *love beyond the moon & stars ♥ (feather earings and charms by Feather's Divine ) Chloe the Hot Dog & Friends Blueberryshoes Art & Vintage Golden Swear Vintage Free Lovin Foodery (the yummiest) last saturday was Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar & Indie Craft Fair . This was the second annual show and it was held at Old Davie Schoolhouse. It is put on by the Hollywood Craft Mafia a group of 4 crafty inspiring girls. They put on this large Odd Duck Handmade Bazaar annually and do other crafty diy events and mini Odd Ducks throughout the year. They really put on a great show, this one had about 80 crafty vendors in 3 different areas at this Old historic schoolhouse. I was in the downstairs auditorium there was also an upstairs area and a tent outside, plus a tiki food hut area and a grassy area were some bands played. It was a great day event and there was lots of happy shoppers, of all ages...

this saturday was an event 'for the little ones' a benefit for Jack & Jill Children's Center  at IWAN The Bubble . Jack & Jill Children's Center is in Broward County Florida and it is a non-profit organization that provides family oriented early childhood education and support to strengthen working families. They serve children ages infant to 5 years old, year round from 7:15am - 5:45pm to serve the needs of working parents. I went with some others from IWAN The Bubble and visited the Jack & Jill Children's Center and the lil ones there gave me big smiles, some hugs and a flower. Each class room, activity room, kitchen, play ground was filled with light, smiles, singing, playing, ballet, learning and creative crafts. I fell in love with the Center and can't wait to visit again. This event for the little ones was filled with love, music, art, craft vendors, yummy food, and drinks. saturday was Sean Murdock's Summer of Love Festival at The Bubble (IWAN) Fort Lauderdale. It was a magical event with inspiration from Woodstock and the 60s and Peace and Love and Music. Love was all around, happy faces, twirlling, hoola hooping, admiring, and inspiring. It was a beautiful event. The show was put on by Sean Murdock who is a talented photographer, he creates amazing images on large pieces of wood using an alternative printing techinique. He then paints them in vibrint colors. Some pop even more with 3-d glasses and look really sweet in the groovy black light room they set up during the show. The event had a few other artists and vendors outside. I had fun making my Peace Owl fort area with some help from my twin sis with Chloe the Hot Dog & Friends. I hung some of my floral sheets from the roof for a nice gypsy fort and filled the tables with some crafty treasures. I also had fun making a TeePee!!! at this show.    Feathers Divine Feathers Divine Time Peace Time-Peace Gopi Bliss hoola hoop by Hoop Rage Bean Spence painting during Cope Aura Music & Art Festival was January 14 - 17 and it was a much needed adventure. The festival is 3 nights of camping, music and art at a lovely eco-ranch at Forever Florida, Saint Cloud. The Peace Owls and I joined my friend Diana with Feathers Divine and had a fun feather forest tent. Diana is a lovely spirit and makes amazing feather earings and hair assessories. I love them all. The peace owls and her feather goodies love hanging together and we hope to do more festivals together soon. hello 2011! it's about time i welcomed you here. it been a busy 2010 of peace owl fun and i am excited for more adventures ahead in 2011. This past year I am thankful for the adventures I had with the Peace Owls. I still have to pinch myself to believe I was in the Spring Issue of Boho Mag. And all the fun events I was in at my second home The Bubble IWAN Gallery. Plus craft shows/ festivals around south florida- Stitch Rock, Grenolds Park Love In Festival, Lake Worth It Fest, Odd Duck, Palm Beach Music & Art Fest, Retro & Geek Odd Duck, Indie Craft Bazaar. It was also an amazing year of buddies and mini adventures, music, beach, bike rides, dancing, smiles and sunshine. Even with the cloudy days, the not so great times they all work together with the good and the bad and keep us looking forward to whats ahead.
