peace owls need your vote for an eco tee shirt design contest

Acouple weeks ago I was stumbling around the internet curious to find a eco friendly tee shirt printer and i found a fun contest instead. It is from Planet Green and Hessnatur with a chance to win a dream prize: "The winning T-shirt design will actually go to print on hessnatur T-shirts produced at Grameen Knitwear in Dhaka, get embedded into Hessnatur’s collection and then go on sale worldwide. Talk about huge. The winner could very well walk away with an experience that not only boosts their career to brand new, more elevating heights but that also inspires the global community. Proceeds will help Grameen Shikkha, the education division of the humanitarian, anti-poverty organization founded by Nobel Peace Prize recipient Dr. Muhammad Yunus, help support students in Bangladesh." Sounds wonderful to me. I hope my Peace Owl design has a chance of winning. You can VOTE once a day until September 15th. The votes will determine the top 5 and then Planet Greens judges will announce a winner around Sept 23rd. My peace owls would be so excited to win but they realize the competition is filled with lots of lovely earth friendly designs. wish me luck! peace & love.
UPDATE: The winner of this contest was Lindsey Seligman with her "One Life Design". It is very lovely and perfect for this contest. Congrats Lindsey!

i agree if we were neighbors that would be amazing, i used to live in tarpon springs, fl i loved it so much but we had to move back to new england, bummer.

i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i wish i was still in paradise

i am back home from costa rica. it was beautiful. i will miss this sunrises, palm trees, fresh fruits, avacado, bannana smoothies, shell walks with sisters, little sister saying 'i am gonna fall in love with him' about every other boy she saw, waves, warm water, sunshine, surfing with dad and rick, zip lines through the rainforest, waterfalls, climbing to the top of the waterfall, bicyles, friendly dogs, mountains, free birds, wild horses, coffee con leche with mom and sis, sand castels, black beans and crackers, sunsets, feathers and uno. i will miss all that and more. costa rica is a lovely place i wish my home was more like it. People really work together there always lending a helping hand and working together as a community. Also the main transportation is by bike. It is a wonderful thing to see more bikes in a parking lot than cars. I wish more people would cherish there bikes. And how all you really need is love and family. They build a home around that and thats all you...
