Indie Craft Bazaar's Bohemian Craftsody was a summer lovin' indie craft fair on July 23, 11. It was a perfect sunshiney summertime show with crafty friends vending under a big white tent, with some friendly fans. i shared a table with my twin sis jessica who does Chloe The Hot Dog & Friends art and paintings. It is always fun having her by my side. I lucked out in that sisterly friend department. this show was exciting because i designed the flyer art for the event, a retro flower camper with peace owl along for the ride. i always enjoy creating flyer art for events like this. you can see more photos from the show on my facebook art page here.

my peace owls are featured in the handmade section of boho mag's spring issue! this magazine is my favorite and it is a dream come true to be inside of it. it is an eco friendly fashion/ lifestyle magazine and its pages are printed on 100% recycled paper. you can find it at bookstores and newstands nationwide. i pick mine up at barnes and nobile. this issue is fresh on the newstands today. if you go to pages 20-21 you will find my peace owls and me. this issue is packed with lovely spring time, sparkles, pastels, paris, macarons and more. you can see it online too at http://www.bohomag.com/ . it still is unreal to me that i made it on the pages of a magazine so feel free to pinch me. ahhh. i'm so happy. :) peace & love!

i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i wish i was still in paradise

i am back home from costa rica. it was beautiful. i will miss this sunrises, palm trees, fresh fruits, avacado, bannana smoothies, shell walks with sisters, little sister saying 'i am gonna fall in love with him' about every other boy she saw, waves, warm water, sunshine, surfing with dad and rick, zip lines through the rainforest, waterfalls, climbing to the top of the waterfall, bicyles, friendly dogs, mountains, free birds, wild horses, coffee con leche with mom and sis, sand castels, black beans and crackers, sunsets, feathers and uno. i will miss all that and more. costa rica is a lovely place i wish my home was more like it. People really work together there always lending a helping hand and working together as a community. Also the main transportation is by bike. It is a wonderful thing to see more bikes in a parking lot than cars. I wish more people would cherish there bikes. And how all you really need is love and family. They build a home around that and thats all you...
