mini odd duck RETRO & Geek show

this saturday was the mini odd duck RETRO & Geek show. it was put on the amazing hollywood craft mafia and took place at Jezebels Vintage (Retro vendors) and Radioactive Records (Geek vendors). This show was 'mini' so the vendors had a 3 foot space to fill with goodies inside these 2 awesome places. Me and my twin sis (chloe the hot dog and friends) shared a spot. she had her retro flower doxie paintings and other doxie paintings, and some adorable florida oranges (ceramic & paintings). i had my peace owl 5 x 7 framed paintings, trunk of prints, ceramic mini mushrooms and mushroom flower vases/ peace owl bells.It was fun creating a cozy little display. my other neighbor at the show was hollie of blueberryshoes. i adore her and her craftyness. i am wearing her pine goddess crown in the bottom photo. she makes adorable bows, necklaces, paintings and more. everything has a special magic to it. also in the section i was in was Lorna Ruth (sweet alternative photography prints, buttons & jewelry) and Tortuga Tile Works. i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i wish i was still in paradise

i am back home from costa rica. it was beautiful. i will miss this sunrises, palm trees, fresh fruits, avacado, bannana smoothies, shell walks with sisters, little sister saying 'i am gonna fall in love with him' about every other boy she saw, waves, warm water, sunshine, surfing with dad and rick, zip lines through the rainforest, waterfalls, climbing to the top of the waterfall, bicyles, friendly dogs, mountains, free birds, wild horses, coffee con leche with mom and sis, sand castels, black beans and crackers, sunsets, feathers and uno. i will miss all that and more. costa rica is a lovely place i wish my home was more like it. People really work together there always lending a helping hand and working together as a community. Also the main transportation is by bike. It is a wonderful thing to see more bikes in a parking lot than cars. I wish more people would cherish there bikes. And how all you really need is love and family. They build a home around that and thats all you...
