A Crafty Potluck Party

this weekend my friend Hollie of Blueberryshoes Art & Vintage threw a Crafty Potluck Party. It was great fun getting crafty with crafty friends, playing and enjoying yummy foods. the party was held at Amy's house (which is filled of cuteness everywhere you look). this is going to be a new monthly meet up and i am so excited for it. It was great fun getting together with the local crafty buddies in the area and crafting together. Each girl is so inspiring to me in there own ways. The group included Hollie of Blueberryshoes Art & Vintage, Amy of Peace, Love and Cupcakes, Sherry of Annies Cupboards, Amanda of Indie Craft Bazaar, Sam (who is just an all around awesome friend, she made the yummiest vegan cupcakes), and Stephanie of Polly Peachums. i wish more days of summer were like today. today was magical. lots of sunshine, longboardable waves, warm water, friends, picnic, beach all day. it was great. yesterday i painted on scrap wood and cardboard. hope your enjoying your summer. i wish it never ends.

i wish i was still in paradise

i am back home from costa rica. it was beautiful. i will miss this sunrises, palm trees, fresh fruits, avacado, bannana smoothies, shell walks with sisters, little sister saying 'i am gonna fall in love with him' about every other boy she saw, waves, warm water, sunshine, surfing with dad and rick, zip lines through the rainforest, waterfalls, climbing to the top of the waterfall, bicyles, friendly dogs, mountains, free birds, wild horses, coffee con leche with mom and sis, sand castels, black beans and crackers, sunsets, feathers and uno. i will miss all that and more. costa rica is a lovely place i wish my home was more like it. People really work together there always lending a helping hand and working together as a community. Also the main transportation is by bike. It is a wonderful thing to see more bikes in a parking lot than cars. I wish more people would cherish there bikes. And how all you really need is love and family.
